**About the Role**
We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Consultation and Assessment Team within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). In this vital role, you'll be providing clinical services to young people under 18 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families, offering them the support and care they need.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and their families dealing with a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with families and carers to ensure their input is considered in assessments, care plans, and reviews.
- Provide expert consultation and liaison with services within the CCLHD, offering specialized knowledge in Youth Mental Health.
- Utilize evidence-based clinical interventions with a focus on early intervention, recovery, and family engagement.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and consultations with other agencies to ensure coordinated and effective care.

**About You**
- You have a unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- You have degree qualification/s and AHPRA registered in either Nursing or Psychology or Occupational Therapy, or Degree qualification in either Social Work or Social Science.
- You have postgraduate experience working with a Mental health or child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
- You have experience working within a crisis intervention model of care.
