Our client is a mid-market Private Equity manager, focused on investing in high-quality businesses in the Australian and New Zealand markets that has achieved industry leading returns.

We are looking to speak with Investment Associate's that will support the Investment Team. You will research investment themes and opportunities, conducting fundamental quantitative and qualitative analysis on companies, and supporting the structuring and execution of investment transactions.

Off the back of recent success, they have just raised another circa $200million.

**Role & Responsibility**

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;
- Conduct extensive research into specific markets and industries and the respective market drivers
- Developing investment thesis in conjunction with the investment team
- Research and identification of specific companies that would fit within the investment criteria
- Performing fundamental quantitative and qualitative analysis on companies
- Perform, and project manage, due diligence on prospective investments
- Support the preparation of data-driven investment recommendations, presenting to the investment committee
- Support the structuring and execution of investment transactions
- Support the ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of investments and the aggregate portfolio
- Oversee existing portfolio companies and manage value-addition and strategic growth initiatives

**Profile**

The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:

- Strong academic background with professional qualification preferred
- Possess a track record of 3-4 years of working in **Private Equity, Investment Banking or Consulting**:

- Strong technical knowledge, with strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in meetings
- All applicants must have full working rights in Australia
