
Asia Pacific Professional Services Manager

This role is within our Professional Services organization and will own and be responsible for the consulting, implementation, and education of our Asia Pacific region customers utilizing the Advantive software and solutions, along with revenue and cost forecasting and attainment, account relationship management, project management, as well as people management of the professional services Asia Pacific team.
The primary objectives of this role are:
- Provide professional services to ensure customers achieve optimal use from the Advantive products and solutions.
- Provide professional project management, services, and education in support of the implementation of the Advantive products and solutions.
- Manage customer support activities in the Asia Pacific region.
- Manage and develop the professional services teams that directly report into this role.
Additional responsibilities:
- Directs and control activities on a portfolio of Advantive services engagements overseeing the project managers to deliver on-time, on-budget, and profitable engagements to a high degree of client satisfaction. As required, act as the project manager on critical engagements.
- Assess and mitigate engagement risk - presales
- Assess and mitigate project risk - post sales
- Lead the end-to-end design of a proposed solution, including the preparation of customer presentations, configurations, budgetary proposals, and detailed Statement of Work documents
- Manage delivery to project plans, including resources, schedules, milestones, and budgets
- Understand contractual obligations outlined in the statement of work to ensure effective and timely scope management and staffing
- Lead rigorous process of inspection of portfolio of engagements to accurately track project status, quality, issues and task estimates to completion
- Coordinate the satisfactory resolution of customer queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assemble and manage multiple engagement teams in conjunction with services practice leads
- Accountable for the services P&L attainment which includes Order, Revenue, and Margin against targets
- Revenue, Margin, and Resource forecasting for assigned portfolio of engagements
- Responsible for developing and managing strong customer relationships at senior levels and is an active participant in engagement in presales and delivery. Acts as a point of escalation for delivery issues for client
- Drive pull through services revenue post the initial sale
- Responsible for personnel and business management of your direct team, including accountability for team effectiveness, people development and achieving utilization targets
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in MIS, computer science or a related field plus 10-15 years directly related experience
- A minimum 8 years of experience in consulting and technical delivery services for external customers experience; preferably in corrugated packaging manufacturing or distribution (HVAC, Janitorial, etc.).
- A minimum 6 years of experience in a leadership or senior position
- A minimum 6 years of experience in P&L management
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Manufacturing or Distribution Industry experience is a plus
- Experience in managing multiple internal and external clients
***Additional Skills, Knowledge & Abilities**:
- Solid understanding of project management and consulting services methodologies
- Strong professional consulting skills (i.e. negotiation, client relationship management, scope management)
- Ability to leverage internal tools and policies for optimal P&L management
- Working knowledge of MS Office, TeamWork, and NetSuite OpenAir
- Demonstrated leadership attributes such as critical and strategic thinking, understanding, and executing organizational goals, fostering positive attitude in the team and coaching project resources to delivery
- Ability to travel up to 50% at any given time
