Crawford School of Public Policy is a School within CAP and is Australia’s premier public policy school, with recognised world-class expertise and experience in economics, political science, environmental management and development, and on key Asia-Pacific countries, especially China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as Australia.

The Australia Pacific Security College (APSC) is funded by the Australian Government and sits within the Crawford School of Public Policy, College of Asia and the Pacific. The APSC works with Pacific Island countries to build the capacity of officials and deal with a broad range of security challenges through executive and professional development courses, policy workshops, technical assistance and research.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the APSC’s stakeholder engagement portfolio.

This position will support the APSC’s Deputy Director
- Stakeholder Engagement and will also work closely with the APSC Business Manager and Education team. The Program Manager will manage the delivery of the APSC stakeholder engagement activities and will provide comprehensive and strategic support to the Deputy Director. The role will support high level engagement with Pacific based partners, including Pacific Islands governments, the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, academic experts and technical advisors. The Program Manager will also be responsible for APSC’s Alumni engagement program, working closely with the APSC Education team.

Regular international travel will be required as part of this position.

A Demonstrated understanding of Pacific Islands, regional architecture, the role of the Pacific Island Forum and the Boe Declaration on Regional Security 2018, and other regional security declarations will be highly regarded.
