Meade & Eve are looking for a Garment Technician focus Pattern Making to come on board to work on upcoming seasonal design collection pieces. A unique opportunity to join a small creative label working towards fulfilling project trajectories to create beautiful, meaningful pieces for our clients to look and feel empowered and amazing. **THE OPPORTUNITY**

M&E are seeking a creative who enjoys making patterns, can interpret drawings, make a sample. You are to take over a portion of the hands on opportunity as one of our Garment Techs; Pattern Making for Australian & international items. You will be responsible for ensuring garment pattern shape making, sampling your pattern so it works, fits, measure, meeting exacting standards, interpreting drawings with guidelines, some without, grading by 3 sizes only. The passion to develop work to realization for national production. International production; tech draw spec capacity final realization for international handovers favourable. In person meetings essential, off site/onsite very ok

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working piece by piece on select items Australian /international
- Garment tech specialist focus Pattern making
- Responsible for ensuring garment pattern shape making
- Make their shape sample nad trial to ready for handover production
- Capacity to interpret drawings with some or no measurement guideline
- Fit & measure production samples meeting exacting standards
- Favourably tech draw garment specs capacity for final international handovers
- optional or share load obtaining fabric/ garment costings and calculating costings for exclusive seasonal/print styles
- Garment and Fabric testing
- Draw design interest room to grow
- Have fun

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Equal to or holding a diploma / tertiary education
- Experience in pattern making essential
- Experience in garment construction process to bring your pattern to life
- Knowledge of shape buidling from drawings & in progress on hand
- Knowledge of fabric types and relevant construction techniques
- Good communication skills
- A passionate you
