The Role:
The Cardiac Technician / Cardiac Physiologist is responsible for providing a high quality service in physiological monitoring and interpretation during procedures and/or pacemaker testing, within the guidelines and policies, and within the framework of the Mission and Values of Cabrini Health.
Requirements of the role:
- Cardiac Technicians Certificate (Mayfield or its equivalent) or appropriate tertiary degree- Member of review at Professional Affiliates (CSANZ, ACTIV, ASE, ASA, ASUM)- Maintain effective communication channels with staff, ensuring that pertinent information is handed on- Participation in the provision of an efficient, effective, professional cardiac service, ensuring the delivery of high quality, compassionate, competent care- Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a broader team
About you
You will have:
- Have experience, are competent in performing ECG’s- Tertiary qualified in Science degree or equivalent.- Victorian Working with Children Check.- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with quality and customer focus.- Well-developed communication skills.
