Role Description

This is an on-site role located in Malvern, VIC for a Sleep Technician on a wednesday, thursday and friday evening. The Sleep Technician will be responsible for conducting sleep study setups (level 2 PSG), operating and maintaining polysomnography equipment. They will be trained in paediatric scoring or have the interest to be trained to perform sleep study setups on young children and adolescents. The role also involves working closely with sleep medicine specialists to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for patients.

Qualifications

• Polysomnography and EEG skills
• Knowledge and experience setting up home sleep studies for children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with Sleep Medicine procedures and protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Relevant certification or degree in related field is essential.
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents is a plus
