
Events Specialist

We are seeking to appoint an **Events Specialist** on a permanent full time basis.
You will be responsible for planning, organising and executing internal and external events within Olympus Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with our corporate, marketing and education departments to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Reporting to the Events Lead, some additional areas you will be accountable for are:
- Utilise the standardised procedure to deliver a turnkey events management service, encompassing both external events (symposia, congresses, education workshops, etc) as well as internal events (strategy forums, Christmas parties, etc)
- Work closely with the corporate, marketing and education teams to identify event related requirements and develop an appropriate briefing for external partners
- Execute all events in line with the global and regional branding guidelines and have consistent look and feel across the events to proudly represent Olympus brand to our customers
- Deliver standardised pre-event information package to disseminate relevant information to the delegates
- Ensure compliance with MTAA/MTANZ Code of Conduct, comply with TGA/MedSafe Advertising Guidelines, and meet all local and international regulations

- The ability to communicate effectively to all levels of stakeholders with a personable and professional manner
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Office365
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite an advantage
- Understanding of basic office administration and event management process and procedures
- High level of attention to detail
- Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
- A can do, positive attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
