**FINANCIAL PLANNING MANAGER**:

We have a great opportunity for a finance professional to join the PUMA team in the role of Financial Planning Manager, covering a period of maternity leave.
The role is responsible for performance reporting, managing the budgeting & forecasting processes, long-range financial planning and providing meaningful insights on trends and key drivers to enhance business performance.
The role will influence and drive the business’s cost management agenda and identify opportunities for optimizing information for the end-to-end business planning processes.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Financial Planning**Manage the budgeting and long-range financial planning process for Puma AU, NZ and Golf business units
-Manage regular forecast (monthly & mid-year forecast), including financial analysis against plan / forecast benchmarks and highlight out risks/opportunities
-Work with leadership team to understand and actively manage risk and performance in the business.
-Collaborate closely with Wholesale and Retail teams to understand key business drivers and customer trends to critically evaluate assumptions and provide feedback and recommendation
-Ensure timely submission of reliable financial information
-Assist in the development, implementation and management of an Integrated Business Planning Calendar to ensure all departmental planning cycles align
-Development of the 3 year financial model
**Business Reporting**Take responsibility of internal management reporting, ensuring the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management reports for local management
-Provide all necessary financial and narrative information to support Quarterly Business Reporting
-Manage consolidation of results and provide commercial insights and visibility into trading performance
-Manage the Business Intelligence Lead to drive improved business wide reporting through alignment of business needs from internal stakeholders
-Meet business performance reporting requirements set out by Regional and Global offices
-Review monthly Business Performance Reporting suite for Oceania to track KPI’s against agreed measures
**Business Planning**Ensure accuracy of information provided to the Global Team
-Liaise with internal stakeholders on customer profitability principles driving commercial alignment
-Provide visibility of Sales and Margin targets by Division/Business Unit
-Set Indent, Immediate and Clearance sales benchmarks to plan for top up volume
-Establish monthly/adhoc reporting to evaluate and challenge business performance through all areas (i.e Warehouse efficiency, Range plan assumptions)
**Process & Projects**Lead a project to create new reporting framework and improve the quality of all existing management reporting
-Devise and Implement Measuring Tools for Financial and Business Improvement
-Drive process improvements and planning efficiencies with system upgrades and as the role develops
-Deliver Financial modelling for adhoc projects and business case
**People**Train, motivate and assist in the development of commercial acumen to the commercial teams within the business to ensure delivery of the functional targets
-Build relationships with key non-finance stakeholders within the organization
**YOUR TALENT**:
A Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting CA/CPA
-5 years experience in a middle-level finance or accounting position.
-IT Skills - Hyperion (Advantage), Excellent MS-Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Exposure to BI Tools, SAP Exposure (Advantage)
-Retail and/or FMCG experience advantage
-Strong communication skills with an
-ability to influence at the highest level
-Proven track record of leading the budgeting/planning process
-Analytical thinking/problem solving
