We are currently seeking a Category Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Category Manager at Middy’s, you will be responsible for fostering strategic partnerships with Supplier Partners, negotiating the best commercial terms, and supporting operational growth to maximize branch margins.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and manage strong strategic relationships with Supplier Partners to drive business growth.
- Negotiate best-in-class commercial terms to ensure the company remains competitive in the marketplace.
- Conduct regular business reviews with Supplier Partners to ensure performance and alignment with objectives.
- Collaborate with operations to support margin growth across our supplier base.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
- Provide accurate and regular sales and margin reporting for key Supplier Partners.
- Actively support the professional development of staff to enhance team capabilities.
- Offer technical support and advice where necessary to assist internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee marketing and advertising activity to ensure alignment with business strategies.
- Assist Major Accounts when new opportunities arise, providing tailored solutions for growth.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in procurement and category management, ideally within the electrical wholesale industry or a related sector.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with the ability to assess and report on sales and margin performance.
- Technical aptitude to support product knowledge and provide relevant advice when needed.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing initiatives is advantageous.
- Proactive and results-driven with a focus on business growth.
