**About the role**

Providing vital help to all creatures great and small by assisting the Op Shop Business Manager with the onsite management of the Op Shops across Brisbane. In this role, you'll also play a vital part in initiating and managing critical new op shop initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of a project, from conception to successful completion, including taking the lead on and assuming ownership of diverse projects.
- Provide professional leadership and open communication.
- Contributing to a culture of inclusivity, team focus and a learning-based organization.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
- Work with the Op Shops team to improve presentation standards, overall operation, and drive sales across the state.
- Support and train new and existing shop managers and supervisors in developing sites.
- Coordinate and schedule projects to ensure alignment and smooth rollout of key initiatives.
- Support a lean process approach to analyse shop operations and identify areas of process enhancement while generating and implementing solutions.
- Flexibility to learn and work with all areas of Commercial Enterprises when required.

**Who are we looking for?**
- 5 years’ experience in retail management.
- Feel an alignment with your values and those of the RSPCA Qld mission and vision.
- Current open driver’s license.
- Ability to deliver exceptional standards of customer service.
- A network connector who can view the organization from both a macro and micro level to connect business initiatives for best case outcome.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Pragmatic and empathetic approach to staff and volunteer management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationship with volunteers, staff, and management to promote and support the RSPCA Qld.
- Ability to operate computers, point of sale, and normal office and shop equipment.
- Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and manage various priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to perform physical duties including manual handling.

This is a full-time position, **including regular weekend shifts**. Remuneration is as per the General Retail Industry Award commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
