**Where and how you can work**

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

**What you’d be doing in this role**

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

- Proactively sourcing for active and passive talent in the market, with attention to software engineers and Engineering Leaders, converting them into successful hires;
- Work with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and execute recruitment strategies for each position. This also involves managing stakeholders across Sydney and ensuring that there is clarity on the recruitment process and progress;
- Ensuring integrity of data and the free-flow of information by meticulous note-taking and utilisation of our applicant tracking tools and platforms;
- Promote and support the data-driven talent acquisition approach and strive for constant collaboration across Sydney; and
- Market mapping organisations with passive talent in line with the needs of Canva's engineering team.

**You're probably a match if**
- You have a fundamental understanding of technology concepts, specifically with respect to software development.
- You have strong Tech recruitment experience hiring Software Engineers, preferably on a global scale.
- You have previous experience as an internal technical recruiter, ideally for local and off-shore recruitment.
- You have proven capacity to develop and maintain successful stakeholder relationships across the business and different stakeholders.
- You have an interest in high-growth technology startup companies.
