**About the Role**

The role is predominantly Perth based, with regular site travel required to conduct shutdown works. Reporting to the After Sales Service Manager you will actively supervise, shaft overhauls, shut down maintenance, shaft change-outs and routine maintenance of MMD equipment, to meet client requirements and expectations whilst maintaining safe and efficient operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive a safety first work culture that ensures an incident and injury-free work environment;
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with MMD’s mission statement and company policies
- Coordination of machine maintenance and service work on-site
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to provide assistance

and technical support
- Regularly report on progress and manpower overruns or shortfalls
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements
- Lead pre-start meetings
- Complete detailed shift logs and handovers for the client and incoming shift supervisors
- Mentor and coach crew members to help with their career development
- Responsible for the upkeep of site tool containers
- Assist in workshop overhaul and repair works, intermittently as and when site work is not available.

**About You**
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience supervising in a similar role within the mining and maintenance industry
- Engineering Trade Qualification - Mechanical fitter
- Strong background in the mining industry is highly desirable, with exposure to maintenance of plant and equipment - preferably (but not essential) crushing/sizing/screening sector
- Computer literate on Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to perform under pressure
- Good people management and interpersonal skills required to deal with client, management, team members and site personnel
- Organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Quality and productivity focussed

**Salary**: $105,000.00 - $142,423.85 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Annual bonus
- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Mechanical fitting: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian driver's licence (preferred)
- Engineering Trade Qualification - Mechanical fitter (preferred)
- Forklift truck (LF Class) (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
