Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of mineral processing solutions and have been established for over 40 years globally. They strive to deliver innovative solutions within the mining industry and have built a strong reputation within the industry while delivering outstanding solutions.

As they continue to grow, develop, and promote within they are currently seeking an experienced supervisor with workshop and site experience looking for the next step in their career. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading employer as they continue to disrupt the industry.

This is a hybrid role with expectations that the successful applicant will be able to switch between workshop supervision and site requirements in order to maintain current and future client expectations. The site requirements will cover shut down maintenance expectations and can range from 3 to 7 days on a regular basis depending on operational requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Communicate with all site customers and coordinate all aspects of after sales service and support
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance both on site and workshop where required
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Commissioning of new equipment and maintenance including root cause analysis
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
- Ability to work independently and assist the team with maintenance shutdowns

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a Supervisor in a similar role within the mining and maintenance industry preferably with some shutdown experience
- Trade qualified as either BMW or Mechanical Fitter
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
