An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager on a Fixed Term basis in the Office of the Prevention of Family Violence and Coordination.
The Office for Prevention of Family Violence and Coordination supports the Victorian Government in delivering its 10-year agenda to build a Victoria free from family violence. It collaborates across State Government and works closely with Family Safety Victoria and Respect Victoria to enhance connectivity between prevention, behaviour change and response efforts.
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the Office for Prevention of Family Violence and Coordination. This new role requires a strong focus on the strategic risks and opportunities for the prevention of family violence reform and implementation, with a key focus on stakeholder engagement.
The role will lead the governance, coordination and oversight for the Free From Violence Second Action Plan (the Plan), which includes the Primary Prevention Reference Group (with sector representatives) and the Primary Prevention Working Group (with government representatives). You will work closely with Respect Victoria and other government departments and agencies to monitor and report on the Plan. The role will also support the implementation of the Free From Violence Outcomes Framework and prevention domain of the Family Violence Outcomes Framework. An excellent understanding of current evaluation theory and practice, as it relates to primary prevention, would be highly desirable.
