As our Life Science Account Manager, you will drive sales and business development activity within the Life Science product portfolio in Victoria and Tasmania in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Biomedical Research and Laboratory sectors. Please note: Both metro and regional travel is a requirement for success in this role.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- To work with the National Sales Manager - Life Science to develop and grow the Life Science business by identifying and managing customers and channel partners to meet revenue and profitability goals, including developing sales and managing internal operating budgets.
- Identify new markets for products, develop strategic sales plan and strategies for implementation, and understand market intelligence gathering on customers and competitors
- Training and workshops including product presentations to customers and key opinion leaders
- Actively promote both capital equipment and consumable products for Life Science Customers.
- Participate in product launch plans, marketing, promotions and communications
- Manage the entire sales cycle from quotation to orders processing with key internal stakeholders.
- Represent the company at various community, trade shows, seminars and/or business meetings to promote Life Sciences Products and the company promoting positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Demonstrate Getinge values, integrity and loyalty
- Experience with specific sales methodology, sales channel management.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in sales looking after Life science solutions
- Ability to motivate and influence people.
- Demonstrate outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Present professionally and credibly at all levels in customer organisations
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows and MS office
- Have a high comfort level in various health care/medical settings and environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
