Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing supplier payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

In this role, you’ll also have the exciting opportunity to lead the project for the implementation of our new accounts payable system, making a lasting impact on our processes and efficiency.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Process and verify invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain vendor records and build positive supplier relationships.
- Reconcile accounts, including supplier and bank statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage employee expense claims in line with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to financial reporting, including accruals and payment forecasts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support overall objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or SAP) and Excel.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to lead a systems implementation project, highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- A certificate or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
