Student and Academic Services Coordinator

**About the role**:
UC College is a pathway provider for the University of Canberra, offering bridging courses to both domestic and international students. We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Student and Academic Services Coordinator who will contribute to providing high quality customer service and efficient administrative support for delivery of our programs.

**The **person we seek will ideally have the following**:

- Demonstrated ability to observe and meet consistent deadlines whilst triaging competing priorities
- Well-developed administration skills that include problem solving, analytical skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients from the academic and administrative areas.
- Experience with student information system or database, and/or customer relationship management systems
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, including proofreading and editing skills
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to students and professionals
- Ability to independently resolve routine problems and issues
- Sense of responsibility and commitment to education
- Understanding of the challenges faced by students partaking in alternative pathways to tertiary education, and in particular the complicated nature of the international student experience.

***Desirable but not essential**:

- A diploma or higher (or, in lieu, at least three years’ professional experience) relating to administration, education or business
- Work experience in higher education sector, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Experience in a multicultural environment
