**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Planner - Food Category to ensure that the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Execution of the PO to DC process in collaboration with the Buyer. Conduct a rolling review of stock reports to identify opportunities and threats to the business relating to the in-stock position. Activate stock management and ordering processes to ensure Company objectives relating to stock on hand, out of stock and budgeted stock levels are met.

**THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU**:

- Store visits to Melbourne Airport and other locations as needed;
- Executes the PO to DC process in collaboration with the Buyer;
- Proactively follow up on POs and backorders, escalate issues accordingly;
- Proactively track expiry and/or aged stock to meet KPIs;
- Ensure stock complies with labelling requirements in Australia and New Zealand;
- Communicate Vendor delivery guidelines and ensure their implementation;
- Determining shelf caps by sku and location;
- Master Data integrity in JE and GloB+;
- Rolling review of in stock reports (daily, weekly and monthly);
- Rolling review of min/max reports;
- Adjustment of min/max parameters according to SKU performance and seasonal event requirements;
- Analyse and initiate stock replenishment to stores;
- Developing reports in a proactive manner or as briefed to identify insights and actionable recommendations;
- Initiate stock orders and returns to vendor, in a timely manner;
- Identify, communicate and provide recommendations pertaining to the divisional stock position to the Buyers;
- Collaborating with freight forwarder to import and export stock accordingly.

**YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE**:

- Achievement of sales targets and margin on an ongoing basis;
- Sales and purchases forecast, in line with budgets communicated by Category Manager;
- End to end PO-BL process; ordering and following up on orders, and backorders;
- Timely order and follow up of promotional stock;
- Balancing and allocation of stock between locations;
- Managing expiry stock;
- Imports and Exports;
- Successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Stock and control replenishment;
- Develop and maintain positive supplier & stores relationships to support the best business outcomes for Lotte Duty Free

**WHO ARE YOU?**

**_ Essential_**
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role;
- Experience with FMCG;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field;
- Very high level of analytical skills;
- Very high level of attention to detail;
- High level of numeracy skills;
- High level of retail and product experience;
- Experience in automated replenishment systems;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
- Demonstrable ability to manage various competing priorities and the ability to assess and resolve problems;
- A sense of urgency and the ability to translate this into effective organisational practices, action plans and time management;
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills;
- A team player;
- Highly adaptable to change;
- Fluent in English;
- Proactive problem solving utilizing critical thinking skills.

**_ Desirable_**
- Experience in the Duty Free industry or with its products;
- Experience importing and exporting consumer goods;
- Knowledge of food labelling requirements in Australia/NZ.
