**About the team**

The Group Procurement Teams purpose is to maximise the value of our non-stock goods and services required to meet our business objectives.

The Group Procurement Team work closely with the business to understand their needs and objectives, to deliver savings, to optimise spend, and to manage supply risk.

**The role**

We are seeking a Category Manager - Property portfolio, to join our team based at Strathpine. This role will develop and implement Category Plans for non-stock items. Ideally you will have property experience and SME levels of knowledge in this area. You will report into our Head of Procurement, Kylie Christie and success will see you:

- Develop a detailed category plan
- Own the end-to-end tender process
- Maintenance of Contract Compliance
- Manage strategic supplier relationships
- Data Analysis
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure success

**You will bring**:

- The role requires strong knowledge and experience across the procurement life cycle including category management, sourcing, contract and supplier relationship management
- Considerable experience when it comes to strategic planning within a highly operational environment
- Strong commercial awareness
- Our business is always changing we need you to be agile in the way you look at challenges and solutions
- Project Management experience
- Internal/External Senior stakeholder engagement and management
- Experience within a similar organisation with experience in peak trade periods - seasonal or cyclical.
