This is a dynamic role that combines your expertise in creating mouthwatering pizzas using Crust Pizza's signature techniques and recipes with the responsibilities of supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading our front-of-house and back-of-house operations, upholding Crust Pizza's brand standards.

**What You'll Do**:
**Pizza Making Responsibilities**:

- **Mastering the Crust Pizza Craft**: Prepare, stretch, and top pizzas according to Crust Pizza's specific recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation that customers expect from our brand.
- **Dough Expertise**: Understand and manage Crust Pizza's dough preparation, proofing, and handling processes.
- **Ingredient Management**: Monitor and manage ingredient inventory, ensuring freshness and proper storage according to Crust Pizza guidelines.
- **Oven Operation**: Operate and maintain pizza oven to achieve perfect bakes consistent with Crust Pizza's standards.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct rigorous quality checks on all pizzas before they leave the kitchen, ensuring they meet Crust Pizza's high standards.
- **Menu Knowledge**: Possess in-depth knowledge of the entire Crust Pizza menu, including ingredients, allergens, and special requests.
- **Maintaining a Clean & Organized Station**: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with Crust Pizza's operational procedures.

**Assistant Manager Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**: Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising and motivating staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the team operates efficiently and in line with Crust Pizza's values.
- **Shift Management**: Help oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with Crust Pizza's operational manual.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times, resolving customer issues promptly and professionally, reflecting Crust Pizza's commitment to guest satisfaction.
- **Training & Development**: Assist in training new employees on Crust Pizza's pizza making techniques, store procedures, and customer service standards.
- **Inventory & Ordering**: Support in managing inventory levels, placing orders for supplies, and minimizing waste according to Crust Pizza's procedures.
- **Cash Handling & Reporting**: Assist with cash handling, till reconciliation, and daily reporting, following Crust Pizza's financial protocols.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise, utilizing your judgment and following Crust Pizza's established procedures.
- **Maintaining Store Standards**: Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations and Crust Pizza's brand standards.
- **Supporting the General Manager**: Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve business goals and maintain a positive work environment that aligns with the Crust Pizza culture.

**What You Bring**:

- **Proven Experience**: Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Pizza Maker in a professional setting, ideally with experience in a franchise environment.
- **Leadership Potential**: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is a strong asset.
- **Passion for Pizza**: A genuine love for making and serving delicious pizza, and a desire to uphold the quality of Crust Pizza.
- **Strong Work Ethic**: Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues calmly and effectively.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team environment.
- **Food Safety Knowledge**: Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
