**Job Details**

I am looking for someone enthusiastic to join my growing dance school. I need someone to assist me in my Acro Classes on Thursday afternoons.

**About the Role**

You will be assisting with two large acro classes on Thursday afternoons. Working with children from ages 5-12 years old of different skill levels and abilities. Both classes have about 14 students in them, so we start with warm-up together, then I like to split into 2 groups and work on certain skills. This approach helps each child get more out of the class and spend less time standing in lines.

You will need to be able to teach confidently with a small group. It would be great if you have teaching experience, but it's not absolutely necessary—as long as you have some sort of training in Acrobatics, Tumbling, or Gymnastics, and you feel confident enough to teach some skills on your own.

We also do a school pick up from Rozelle Public School at 3pm and walk the kids over to the studio. You will be assisting with this, so you will need to arrive at the studio at about 2:45-2:50pm so we can walk over to the school together to pick the kids up.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their teaching skills in a supportive environment.

**Hours**
- Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
- Location: Pia’s Dance and Acro School, Rozelle 2039

**Requirements**:

- Background in Acrobatics, Tumbling, or Gymnastics
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
- Ability to manage a group independently
- Commitment to a minimum of 1 term (10 weeks), longer preferred
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- ABN (Australian Business Number)
- First Aid certification

**Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract

Pay: $24.10 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.5 per week
