**Who we are**

Independent Living Disability Services provides a range of supports and services to people across Melbourne and Sydney.

We are currently seeking a **Level 3 Specialist Support Coordinator** to work with with participants who have **highly complex needs**, including psychosocial disability, trauma backgrounds, behaviours of concern, or multi-agency involvement. This role is suited to someone confident in handling complex behaviours, face to face interaction, building strong professional networks, and advocating for participants with multiple systemic barriers.

**Position requires**:

- Deliver Specialist Support Coordination under NDIS line item 07_004_0132_8_3
- Manage complex participant caseloads, including high-risk or crisis situations
- Coordinate across services: mental health, Allied health, housing, safeguarding
- Assist with restrictive practice navigation, risk assessments, and planning
- Lead case conferences and engage stakeholders in multidisciplinary settings
- Develop clear, measurable participant goals and progress pathways
- Maintain detailed case notes and provide written reports as required by the NDIA
- Work in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and capacity-building way

**Work Hours**:

- Hours based on participant plan funding - typically 10-25 hours/week
- Flexible scheduling - remote and field work options available

**Remuneration**
- You will be paid fortnightly.
- Rates will be competitive and based on experience and qualifications, in line with industry standards (+ Superannuation). Specific rates will be discussed with successful applicants.

**Eligibility Criteria**
- **Must have experience** delivering **Level 3 Specialist Support Coordination**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Community Services, or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage high-risk, high-complexity participants
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and crisis response skills
- Strong understanding of the NDIS, restrictive practices, and safeguarding
- Current **NDIS Worker Screening**, **WWCC**, **First Aid (HLTAID011)** and **CPR (HLTAID009)**:

- **National Police Check** (within the last 12 months)
- **Full Driver’s Licence** and reliable vehicle
- Must have **the right to work in Australia**:

- Must be confident working independently and remotely
- 2 Manger references - work number

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
