
Participant Engagement and Administration Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual with experience in administration, accounts receivable and payable, and participant engagement to join our passionate team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible working environment, with the option to work between two to three days per week, either from home or in our office servicing Metropolitan Melbourne. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including participant engagement, governance, HR tasks, recruitment, rostering, and financial administration. You will manage specific support workers and participants, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct participant intakes and Work, Health, and Safety checks.
- Create tailored support plans in collaboration with participants and their networks.
- Coordinate and roster support workers to meet participants' needs.
- Plan and organise social group events.
- Oversee the implementation and review of company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report incidents, including the use of restrictive practices, in line with NDIS guidelines.
- Assist in compliance with NDIS standards and ensure best practices are followed.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment processing, and financial record-keeping.
- Provide administrative support across HR, governance, and participant engagement functions.
- Recruit support workers, including advertising, conducting interviews, and completing reference checks.
- Assist with rostering and managing support worker schedules.
- Provide training and development opportunities for support workers.

Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Experience in administration and financial processes, including accounts receivable and payable.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A deep understanding of NDIS standards, policies, and procedures.
**Applicants must hold the following (or be willing to obtain)**:
- National Police Check.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children Clearance.
- NDIS Workers Screening Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Commitment to in-house training and professional development.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Prior experience or lived experience within the disability, social, or allied health sectors.
- Relevant certifications in disability, social, or allied health fields.
- Experience with rostering platforms.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $63,254.63 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
