Our success is built on relationships and creating an awesome people experience for all is at the heart of what our People & Culture team do. We are looking for someone who will enjoy being part of the team and working together towards this goal. The role will be based in our Hawthorn office.
**The Impact you will drive**
The People Advisor will have overall responsibility for the smooth operation of all people processes and systems and providing first line advisory to the business. You will be able to continuously improve our internal operations and service delivery to users for a seamless, efficient, and awesome people experience
We have a small team so there will be lots of variety From daily administration duties to supporting new and exciting people projects, process improvement initiatives, analysing people data, to assisting and learning from our People leaders in the execution of our people plans.
You will support leaders and their teams, providing an exceptional people experience through a range of activities that include:
- Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding tasks and attending to ad hoc requests
- Preparing and executing Employment Documentation
- Maintaining HRIS and employee records
- Preparing reports to support people leaders in meeting their compliance obligations, and to monitor key people metrics
- Supporting the work of our Health and Safety Reps in continuing to improve workplace safety and wellbeing
- Researching, reviewing, and writing People & Culture policies and procedures
- Managing the People Inbox, responding to general enquiries and providing basic advice to employees and people leaders on employment terms and conditions and payroll matters
- Lots of exciting People Projects and Initiatives
**Ideally, on day one we'd love you to have**
- Previous experience as an HR Administrator or HR Advisor creating employee documentation, maintaining HR systems
- Experience improving people processes to ensure efficiency and a smooth experience for users
- Experience advising on internal policies and procedures. Exposure to employee relations would be a bonus.
- Ideally have, or be working towards, a tertiary level qualification in Human Resources and/or relevant experience.
- Demonstrate initiative and a can-do attitude all with a big smile
- Work well as part of a team and promote good team spirit
- Understand the need to maintain a high-level of confidentiality
- Display exceptional attention to detail and be both highly organized and self-motivated
- Have strong administration experience with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
- Have strong people skills and the ability to form effective relationships with all stakeholders.
- Have a thirst for learning - we love developing new talent
