Your Opportunity
As the Administration Officer at Yeronga State High School, your role will consist of the following, but is not limited to these duties:
- Enact the school's vision, Quality Pathways to Success and values of Harmony, Quality and Sustainability to ensure the evolution of a high-quality professional learning community;
- Engage with prospective parents and effectively communicate the tailored learning opportunities we provide our students to maximise continued public confidence in our students' academic, social, cultural and sporting pursuits;
- Manage enrolment enquires for our STEM, Arts and Athletes Academy communicating the updates, managing enrolments and support students with their transition to these academic programs;
- Support the engagement of school partnerships with industry and business organisations to assist with brand awareness and management of Yeronga State High School;
- Coordinate with the members of the Senior Executive Team regarding upcoming school events and community outreach events and provide assistance at these events;
- Work alongside our Marketing Manager to promote community events with our students to promote service learning opportunities;
- Effectively communicate with local primary schools, business and industry to establish, progress and strengthen community networks beneficial to our students;
- This role will require some flexibility to work outside of the school hours to help promote the school;
- Support the ongoing development of Yeronga State high School Sponsorship Strategy.
About You
This role will be suited to an energetic and strengths-focused individual who has the ability to connect with people, be an effective communicator and want to make a difference to the organisational outcomes of Yeronga State High School.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
