- Project Services is a new centralised function within Ventia’s Telecommunications sector that unifies three specialist teams - Process, Systems & Governance; Subcontractor Enablement; and Land Access & Stakeholder Engagement - into a single, cohesive hub
- Together, Project Services teams aim to reduce duplication, solidify ways of working, strengthen assurance and let our frontline crews focus on delivering outstanding outcomes for customers and communities.
- As part of the new structure the Technical Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in onboarding subcontractors including training & skills matrices, SHEQ compliance, Ventia inductions as well as building rapport and maintaining relationships with Asset network owners.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Taking ownership of the skills matrices, internal Ventia compliance system, ensuring that all competencies are accurately documented and maintained.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Asset Network Providers, using technical know-how and clear communication to foster collaboration and provide effective support.
- Develop and implement new processes and work instructions, where required and recommend improvements in existing processes and work instructions.
- Overseeing VOC’s (Verification of Competency), SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality), and project inductions to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

**About you**
- Experience in sub-contractor management and compliance related roles (highly desirable)
- Hands-on experience with training, compliance and SHEQ related systems
- Experience in the telecommunications industry (highly desirable)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiencies with Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
