Join our team as a dedicated Technical Facilities Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable working environment for our staff.

This position offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact, managing a variety of tasks that demand superior time management and contractor coordination abilities. You will ensure our facilities not only meet but exceed expectations in service and operational efficiency. Demonstrating a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), you will serve as a key member of the WHS forum, actively contributing to the development and implementation of safety protocols and practices.

Reporting to the Head of Property, your insights and expertise will be invaluable, positioning you as a key advisor. Your responsibilities will also include:

- Orchestrating all maintenance, repair, and refurbishment activities.
- Developing and executing the annual maintenance plan.
- Managing contractor relationships while ensuring all compliance standards are upheld.
- Swiftly addressing inquiries, requests, and any arising issues.
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving strategies and budgetary improvements.

**About you**

We're seeking someone with a proven track record in a customer centric facilities role who has exceptional stakeholder management and strong negotiation skills along with:

- Experienced in coordination and/or facilities management roles.
- A decisive problem-solver with excellent judgment.
- Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An innovative thinker adept at multitasking and prioritising competing demands.
