You will support the Sedgwick business by providing data-driven solutions. You will work with stakeholders responding to requests for data, conducting data analysis and offering actionable insights. Other day to day tasks include providing regular reports monitoring performance, identify data quality issues, and meeting client reporting needs.

**Responsibilities**:
- Mine data to create and deliver regular reports to internal stakeholders and clients; including operational activity reports, compliance reports, dashboards and performance reports- Identify and analyse complex business problems and help find solutions relating to areas such as average cost of claim, revenue, loss ratio and expense ratio- Use mined data to produce scheduled and one-off reports for both internal and external stakeholders- Mine and analyse vast amounts of complex data from multiple sources using knowledge of modelling, statistics and analytics to solve business problems and find actionable insights that can drive business growth- Identify technology and data quality issues, communicate them to relevant stakeholders, and assist the business in process improvement of these areas to help meet company goals- Communicate information and insights to the business by educating and training users to maximise the effectiveness and value of their reports- Support the business in understanding the power and value of an analytical approach to decision making- Partner with stakeholders to quantify the impact of business initiatives and to update existing affected business processes and procedures against industry best practices- Use mathematical analysis and develop algorithms and perform calculations for Sedgwick’s different business units

About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or Data Science- Global experience working in a Data analyst, Statistician or Senior Analyst role within a commercial environment-
- Experience with Python and SQL- Experience using Google Analytics and Google Fundamentals- Data interpretation and visualisation skills- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver complex ideas to a non-technical audience- Stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry

Base Salary $80,000 - $90,000
