We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is happy working in a small team supporting each other. You’ll be an experienced full time prep cook/all rounder and someone who is willing to learn but also share their ideas and grow with the business. The role will initially consist mostly of bulk preparation for daily service and assembling menu items in a fast paced, customer focused environment.

We’re open Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm and Sat, 8am-3pm. This is a full-time role on a rotating roster.

**What you’ll be doing**
- General prep work, pre-service kitchen preparation, production of menu items
- Adhering to standard recipes and processes
- Support the head chef in the daily operations of the kitchen
- Ensuring all food is prepared to a consistent high standard of quality and presentation
- Managing catering orders
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Compliance of all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage stock ordering, stocktaking, rotation and waste minimisation
- Supporting goods receiving, ensuring proper storage and quality control.
- Assume shared responsibility of all kitchen duties, ordering and compliance

**What we’re looking for**
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and understanding of presentation
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
- Food safety supervisor certificate desired or willingness to obtain
- Fluent english, good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
