**About the role**

As Environmental Education and Operations Manager you will guide and oversee Enviroplan funded projects and programs taking charge of initiatives that support conservation estate management planning, private land stewardship, environmental volunteering and departmental communications and engagement.

You will contribute to achieving environmental outcomes for the city through:

- Leading, empowering and coaching the Environmental Education and Operations Section
- Leading the coordination, development, implementation and monitoring of programs across private and public tenures
- Coordinating departmental communications, community education and engagement campaigns around environmental education and sustainability
- Liaising, consulting and providing specialist and strategic advice to government agencies, councillors, internal and external stakeholders, and the broader community

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Degree in Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, Conservation or similar
- Experience in achieving strategic and operational outcomes
- High level of inter-personal and communication skills, both oral and written to effectively lead a team to success
