**About the role
Actively contribute to state-wide planning, operational work instruction and procedure development and provide specialist advice regarding environmental health matters to senior management, other state and local government agencies and other key stakeholders.
About you
Specialist knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary environmental health practice in Queensland Health, including regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to recognise and assess complex public health risks and provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders.
High level written and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to partner effectively with colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
