About the Role
The General Manager, Endpoint Engineering is responsible for developing and implementing strategy and business plans for Endpoint Engineering, Advanced Analytics and Endpoint Compliance (Endpoint security) in line with broader Datacom and Intelligent Workspace strategies. You’ll oversee daily business activities across the above areas, including working alongside colleagues for sales and customer success improving overall business functions.

What you’ll do

**As General Manager, Endpoint Engineering you will**:

- Collaborate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
- Manage the P&L for the service line, along with planning and budgeting
- Be involved in development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and strategy
- Support Sales, Presales and Technical teams across Datacom ensuring an aligned go-to-market approach focused on growth and mutual benefit between Datacom and our customers
- Provide Datacom’s Endpoint Analytics and Endpoint compliance services. Growing and maturing the offering/ ensuring all customers receive this service as per our service descriptions, while maintaining a profitable margin for this business while maintaining a profitable margin for this business
- Provide a compelling vision for the team around service excellence and common standards, along with managing the teams’ training/ certifications
- Provide road maps for each customer
- Ensure adherence to standards and reference architectures (build, naming, DML ETC)
- Ensure adherence to SLAs across the portfolio
- Having a laser focus on customer service and continuous improvement
- Manage transitions to ensure all aspects of transition are complete and optimised at go live

What you’ll bring
This is an exciting, senior role, managing a key area of our Technical Services line of business. You’ll be passionate about leadership, driving excellence both internally and for our customers, and have a keen eye for emerging technologies. You’ll bring at least 5 years’ commercial/ sales experience within a complex, multi-faceted managed services environment, coupled with extensive experience managing service delivery teams within an outsourcing arrangement. You’ll have excellent financial management and strategic planning skills, along with experience delivering exceptional endpoint engineering services. You’ll be a team player, who can comfortably negotiate with/ influence customers or senior management regarding matters of significance to the business.
