Job Title: Pathology Collector/Administrator

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry:

- Verify all details on pathology requests, including patient information and test requests.
- Record any missing information in the deficiencies log sheet (CQF 94).
- Digitally enter patient details into the LabTrak system.
- Cross-reference patient details with Clinic to Cloud (C2C) for updates.
- Add specimen error codes (SPE) in LabTrak for any missing or incorrect information.
- Enter patient results onto LabTrak after sample processing, ensuring accuracy.
- Review and authorize results with appropriate comments upon recheck.

2. Communications:

- Acknowledge receipt of samples through the 3CX communication app.
- Ensure prompt return of sample containers through the sample shoot.
- Upload completed results to patient C2C profiles.
- Notify relevant parties of completed results via 3CX messaging.
- Maintain a friendly and patient-focused approach to all communications.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid pathology collection certificate.
- Minimum of one year's experience in blood collection.
- Proficiency in data entry and digital record-keeping systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing patient information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.

Additional Information:

- This position may require occasional weekend or evening shifts.
- Training in specific systems and procedures will be provided as necessary.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
