About the Role – Relief Pathology Collector (Tuesday to Saturday Roster)
As a Relief Collector, you'll be rostered Tuesday to Saturday and play a crucial role in covering sick leave and emergency shifts across our network. You'll receive same-day notifications of where you're needed, so being adaptable and ready to go is essential.
This role suits someone who enjoys being mobile, values independence, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care—no two days are the same

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and other pathology specimens with care and professionalism.
- Ensure accurate labelling and documentation for reliable diagnostics.
- Prepare specimens for transport, following infection control and cold chain protocols.
- Complete clerical tasks and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and colleagues.
- Follow all safety, privacy, and quality assurance procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection.
- Proven experience in specimen collection.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites on short notice.
- Basic computer literacy.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence—essential for mobile coverage.
- Full working rights in Australia.
