We’re looking for someone to join our small but mighty People and Culture team on a full-time basis to help us keep our office running smoothly. Our P&C team is the driving force that ensures our exceptional team is satisfied, motivated, and passionate about their work.
We need someone who is passionate about **creating an office environment that’s better than home, for work.**Stile HQ is something we take extreme pride in and love to show off. It’s super comfortable with a lounge room and couches, a fully stocked kitchen with snacks and ingredients to make a nutritious lunch, and even a shower to freshen up after your bike ride in.
Here are some of the things you’ll be doing to ensure the workplace experience is delightful:
- ** Making Stile HQ an amazing place to work**
The core of this role is to ensure that our office is well stocked, we’re well fed, and we have all the tools to be able to do our best work This might include ordering groceries and office supplies, organising our fortnightly bagel bar breakfast, and proactively fixing or escalating facilities issues.
- ** Managing and running Stile internal events and celebrations**
We love celebrating the small and big moments You’ll be the one brainstorming event ideas, creating proposals, sourcing suppliers, and executing our events calendar, including our end of year holiday party
You’ll assist the People and Culture Manager and Senior People and Culture Business Partner with coordinating interviews, thank you notes, and gifts for interviewees. You’ll also manage the onboarding and offboarding process
- ** Fostering employee engagement**
You’ll keep the team engaged through our weekly internal newsletter, manage our benefits such as parental leave, salary sacrifice, etc, as well as completing any HR admin as necessary.

- You’re highly organised and detail-oriented. You juggle multiple tasks with ease, keep things running smoothly, and ensure the office is always tidy, inviting, and well-stocked. Nothing slips through the cracks with you around.
- You’re a proactive problem solver. You notice maintenance issues before anyone else and take action to fix them. You’re always thinking ahead to improve the office experience and remove friction for the team.
- You’re a great communicator. Whether it’s internal comms like Stile Weekly, coordinating onboarding, or engaging with employees, you make sure people feel informed and connected.
- You love planning events. You take pride in curating thoughtful celebrations that bring people together. Your events are well-organized, fun, and cater to a wide range of interests.
- You’re comfortable with HR and admin support. From interview and onboarding coordination to employee engagement initiatives, you’re happy to jump in and handle the details that keep things moving.
- You’re a team player. You love collaborating with managers and colleagues to make the employee experience even better. You welcome feedback and are always looking for ways to improve.
Hours and location
This is a full-time, 12 month maternity cover contract based in Melbourne, Australia.
Overall we’re an “in-person” culture (we enjoy working together face to face), so expect to see staff in the office 3-4 days a week. Due to the nature of this role, we would require you to be in the office every day. Our office is in the CBD near Parliament station.
