We're seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead the design and implementation of our portfolio. **Role Unique Purpose**: As our continuous improvement PMO Lead, your primary goal is to establish and optimize project management processes to deliver customer value swiftly and efficiently. You'll focus on simplifying processes, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **Responsibilities Include**: - Identifying and managing organizational and process constraints within project lifecycles. - Ensuring a continuous flow of work to prevent system overload. - Leading process improvement projects and promoting best practices. - Motivating project teams and driving projects through Agile and Lean methodologies. **Key Accountabilities**: - Focus on Lean Project Management: Streamline processes to deliver business value effectively. - Design the PMO with a view of the "whole picture": Control handoffs and dependencies within the project portfolio. - Detect and Enable small 'quick wins' in continuous improvement: Identify and implement immediate improvements. - Visual management of PMO: Utilize visual tools to monitor project progress and identify issues. - Use Portfolio and resource management effectively: Prioritize projects based on business value and allocate resources efficiently. **Requirements**: - Demonstrated experience in leading or implementing PMOs. - Proficiency in PMO practices and methodologies. - Certification or understanding of project management methodologies (PMI-ACP, CSM, Prince2, PMP, Lean Six Sigma). - Experience in team leadership and stakeholder engagement. **Who You'll Work With**: - IT Management - Business Stakeholders - Agencies and contractors - Vendors You need to be in Adelaide Australia (or willing to relocate there), with full work rights to be considered for this role. Salary on offer is between $160K to $170K plus super. Permanent Opportunity. Full time role. Hybrid work.
