We are currently looking for our future** **Technical Sales Representative (M/F/d)** **based in Melbourne, Victoria for a permanent contract.
**Your mission**
- You develop key action plans linked to sales promotions and new product releases
- You regularly ascertain competitor activity and other relevant information and reports this information to management
- You ensure that all customers and user are given effective product knowledge training
- You co-ordinates approx 2 weeks of training per year in conjunction with the Training Manager
- You are responsible for stock control within the Wholesale branches involving supply suggested stock order using E2GO
- You arrange the stock in the Wholesale branches to attract maximum attention and visual appeal including setting up relevant marketing displays
- You ensure the Wholesaler is kept up to date on product releases, information and has adequate supply of marketing literature and price catalogues
- You Investigate with the Wholesaler why products are/ are not selling and develop strategies to overcome issues
- You maintain control of your own selling expenses
- You make a presentation of the Sales territory at the monthy Sales meeting and prepare monthly sales forecast for the State Manager
- You collaborate with the Merchandiser on upcoming promotions
**Your profile**
- You successfully completed additional studies in the sales or marketing area
- You have got a minimum of 2 years' experience in a selling role and a proven ability as a sales professional
- Your experience within the technical/ trade area enables you to effectively use CRM and SAP Analytics to review sales history and trends
- You know the Hager product range and are aware about our customers
- You have got Metering knowledge, Switchboards & modular devices, complete system electrical installation knowledge and knowledge of all relevant Electrical Standards
- You anticipate and focus on value added activities to ensure that plans are achieved within budget and to excellent standards
- You are customer driven and present yourself as a reliable partner
- As a team player you participate, share and support your team members
- You demonstrate openness, honesty and respect in all working relationships
- You prepare thorough action plans, set clear goals and objectives, monitor and evaluates progress and results
- You formalize your knowledge, experience and new information to support knowledge management within the company and through effective networking
- You communicate effective messages and build & maintain good internal and external (working) relationships
- You invest time and effort to identify and understand current needs of the customer and anticipate their potential requirements in order to improve the quality of service
- You systematically analyse problems understanding underlying causes to identify appropriate solutions
- You work precisely and accurately to ensure and maintain the quality of the service
