The Learning & Organisational Development team have the rewarding job of creating a learning culture that ensures Berry Street staff are engaged, and have access to the professional development they need to provide positive outcomes for the children, young people and families they work with.

**The Opportunity**

Come and join the wonderfully skilled and valued Learning and Development team as we set off on an exciting year working towards achieving learning goals for the organisation.

This is a newly created role that will be responsible for delivering a broad suite of learning that builds the capability of Berry Street’s residential care workforce, with a particular focus on ensuring a positive early employment experience, trauma informed care and staff health & safety.

The role will provide specialist L&D consultation to residential care programs, developing and delivering a broad suite of learning initiatives that are relevant, high-quality and impactful and that meet both regulatory compliance requirements and the broader developmental needs of individuals and teams.

**About You**

You will be an experienced L&D generalist with a high level understanding of adult learning principles and organisational and development strategies that build workforce capacity and a culture of learning. You will have experience with Learning Management Systems, instructional design, the development and delivery of learning initiatives as well as coaching. You are skilled at managing stakeholder relationships, and are able to provide the type of internal consultancy that translates the learning needs of teams into meaningful learning and development opportunities.

You will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in adult learning or related field. You will also be confident in prioritising projects and be able to manage your time efficiently.
