**Role overview**
Utilities Business Unit has been growing steadily in the past years,Our client is looking to on board a seasoned Utilities Sales Manager who will develop as a leader in the ANZ region. This is a great time to joint utilities and expand the business leveraging local team and the existing projects with tier 1 utilities. This is an exciting opportunity to:

**Key responsibilities**
- Franchise mindset. Owns the business for her/his territory. This will not just be a sales role. You will be the face of in the Utilities sector in Australia and New Zealand.
- You will build a strategic plan to grow the Utilities business.
- You will be identying business opportunities across GIS, data management, engineering & design, operational technologies - and Digital.
- Accountable for order intakes, revenue generation and profit margin for utilities customers in ANZ.
- Promote, develop creative offerings, close deals in the fields of geospatial, asset data management, mobility, distribution management systems, DERMS, grid analytics, engineering & design, asset condition monitoring
- You will help define future solution development roadmap, ecosystem of partners and corporate acquisition strategy.
- The role will be 60% new business development and 40% existing account growth. Travel throughout Australia will be required.
- Work in partnership with the lead generation and marketing teams to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Work with the local delivery team and SMEs to maximize revenue recognition and profit margin.
- Establishes partnerships and alliances to grow s footprint in the utilities market.
**Pre-requisites**
- Consultative selling approach
- Creative in her/his business approach
- Prior experience working with the utilities industry in Australia
- Familiar with direct sales and with partners
- Familiar with IT systems used by utilities to manage their asset base, network and workforce - ADMS/DMS, GIS, Asset Management, Mobile workforce management
You must have working rights in Australia.
