**Financial Adviser - Phone based**

**We will count on you to**:

- Provision of intra-fund, super advice to members of superannuation funds administered by Mercer.
- Have broad conversations, which identify member’s financial needs.
- Meet members advice needs for their superannuation
- Refer members to comprehensive advice teams have their needs outside their superannuation met.
- Prepare and issue SOA documentation within a 10 day period
- Ensure all interactions with members are within the MFA compliance framework.
- Attain a pass in annual file audit
- Attain a pass in monthly call listening sessions with Trustee and MFA compliance
- Ensure all advice provided by you is peer reviewed unless you have gained peer review relief
- Adhere at all times to the MMCo/ Mercer professional code of conduct
- Adhere at all times to the FPA’s Code of Professional Conduct
- Adhere at all times to Mercer’s compliance guidelines to ensure that compliance breaches are kept to a minimum
- Minimise risk, consistently follow our Adviser Standards, and deliver zero controllable Errors and Ommissions
- Contribute to team meetings and projects and act as a thought leader and mentor for less experienced team members and Mercer staff
- Support team members to develop their skills

**What you need to have**:

- Registered on ASIC Adviser Register
- Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning or an Accredited Relevant Degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in the financial advice business
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Demonstrated face to face or phone based advisor experience
- Exceptional phone manner
- Phone based experience
- Experience managing and retaining clients
- Strong focus on customer experience and meeting member’s best interest
- Have completed the FASEA examination successfully
