The Corporate Communications Advisor will report to the Director of Corporate and Government Affairs. You will deliver - internal and external communications, write publications and provide communications support to the Executive leadership team.

**The Company**

Pilbara Ports Authority is the world's largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island. PPA's vision is to be the global leader in port planning, operations and marine services. To support long-term growth, PPA is planning for the future, with five greenfield ports marked for development, the advancement of a general cargo facility and logistics hub at Lumsden Point and the redevelopment of the West End in Port Hedland into a maritime precinct.

**The Role**

The Corporate Communications Advisor will report to the Director of Corporate and Government Affairs. You will deliver - internal and external communications, write publications and provide communications support to the Executive leadership team.

The variety of internal and external communications work will include:

- Publications, including the Annual Report
- Fact sheets, presentations and speaking notes
- Feature articles for industry publications
- Award nominations
- Seeking out stories to share internally and externally across multiple channels
- Communications support for regional events and community engagement

**About you**
- Curious and inquisitive, you will enjoy learning about projects and initiatives to then create engaging content for use across multiple channels.
- Extensive experience working with and providing strategic advice to senior leaders.
- Proven experience in proofing and editing.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail working within a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications or equivalent (highly desirable)
