We are currently looking to hire an
**Associate Corporate Advisor** to join our growing Corporate Services team. If you are a hard-working professional, Nexia Perth is an ideal place to grow your career.

What does it mean to be an Associate Corporate Advisor at Nexia Perth? This role offers a broad scope of company secretarial responsibilities, with the opportunity for development and to take on increasing responsibilities.

**About You**
You may be a graduate lawyer or accountant with an interest in progressing your career in the corporate advisory and/or company secretarial space. Alternatively, you may be an experienced administrator looking to grow in a supportive team environment with access to a range of mentors and an exceptional client base.

You will have a keen eye for detail, have outstanding communication skills and the ability to deal appropriately with a wide range of stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Company Secretary of ASX listed, unlisted and pre-IPO entities
- Liaising with share registries on all Company Secretarial matters
- Assist with co-ordination of client meetings including the drafting and despatch of Board and Committee papers
- Assist in General Meeting processes for clients, including preparation of Notice of Meetings, agendas, shareholder engagement and logistics
- Assist with meeting periodic reporting requirements for clients
- Assist our accounting teams with preparation of client Annual Reports
- Assist with preparation of ASX reporting requirements and forms (Appendix 3B’s, 3Y’s, etc)
- Administration of all functions required for public listed entities, which includes preparing and lodging of ASX communications
- Assist with maintenance of corporate governance sections of the Company’s website with current information and in accordance with good governance, market practice and ASX requirements
- Readiness to assist other parts of the team and other groups within the Company where required, including assisting with project work, legal and administrative matters
- Ensure knowledge of regulatory requirements and developments in best practice
- Maintain up to date knowledge of developments in corporate governance and compliance matters

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience)
- A law/business/finance degree would be highly regarded or willingness to undertake a Diploma in Corporate Governance
- Some knowledge of the Corporations Act and experience with ASIC requirements
- Some knowledge of the ASX Listing Rules and experience in a Company Secretarial role in an ASX listed company would be beneficial
- Exceptional customer service and pro-active relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
