As our Testing Lead (known internally as a Journey Expert - Change Management) in a dedicated project team, your squad mission will be to deliver on a program to support our document services vendor with the migration of our legacy customer communication and document services platform to a new platform solution. You will understand document services technology and how this impacts the different types of essential customer communications and documents offered for most products offered across the bank, gather and capture detailed business requirements as well as lead, strategise and execute on testing expected outcomes.

**What a typical day might look like**:
Documenting detailed business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, operational teams, Technology partners and change teams to understand the E2E Initiative and translate business requirements into workable, testable technology outcomes.
Transforming requirements (or lack thereof) into stories, test cases, acceptance criteria, system design etc. - including analysis of existing services, performing field level analysis, defining intra-system mapping and transformation rules and interface specifications.
Leading and creating test strategies, plans, collateral and scripts/cases and ensuring adherence to best-practice testing standards across the team and our wider business stakeholders.
- It is a requirement of this role to be hands-on and able to lead by example, co-ordinating and participating in the execution of test cases alongside the relevant teams, digitally and manually.
Strong vendor management and co-ordination skills and experience are required in order to govern, review and facilitate testing processes and expectations both internally and vendor-side.
Understanding system design and architecture of disparate systems for in-depth analysis.
Documenting system dependencies, information flow, requirements and constraints.
Detailed documentation, governance and execution of testing including UAT, BVT, systems and SIT testing - ensuring all test evidence is highly detailed and hygienic; previous exposure to writing and executing test automation is a bonus.
Supporting change and implementation activities to ensure all impacted teams and roles are trained, equipped and ready to absorb and manage the change, verify and validate what is in production (especially after changes).
Supporting operational and feature readiness; liaising with the vendor to provide ongoing support for the platform as required e.g. problem / incident management.
Ability to synthesise and Root Cause Analysis log and event information from multiple sources into risk analysis, Incident Management process and test reporting, maintaining traceability.
Leveraging tools for optimal collaboration and knowledge sharing (Confluence, JIRA, Sharepoint etc.).
Contributing to the ‘test & learn’ culture within the squad and build and grow the team’s testing capabilities and understanding.
Ensuring the quality and validity of working solutions through quality practices and rigorous testing with a customer-centric focus.

Coordinating with cross-functional teams from Business, IT and third-party providers to create test data to specifications which are fit for purpose, ensuring the safe delivery of this data to endpoints, and that changes being introduced into live environment are tested efficiently.
Identifying and managing complex risks associated with testing to ensure that impacts are mitigated and do not influence delivery.
Provide leadership with meaningful reports on problem resolutions and testing progress, status and roadblocks.
