Operating as a major global Multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer with global sites worldwide, our client is well known for its growth and innovation and is an Australian iconic brand in the marketplace, offering a range of healthcare products to local & global markets.
Due to increase in project requirements, our client is seeking an
**Junior Materials Planner **to work within the supply chain team & be responsible for process order management across primary & secondary manufacturing in all aspects of capacity, materials & regulatory approvals within a cGMP facility.
**About the Opportunity**:
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Review & monitor requirements for materials to ensure its availability for production deadlines.
- Manage & raise purchase orders for materials required by the operations team to meet schedule & project timelines.
- Review day to day materials stock review, identify risks & work through mitigating issues.
- Generate reports using SAP & manage SAP planning parameters.
- Facilitate weekly commitment meetings with stakeholders across the business to agree on the weekly production plan.
- Work collaboratively with other planners to maintain knowledge of the planned manufacturing schedules across the site.
**About You**:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with SAP & creating & maintaining master data using SAP.
- Excellent working knowledge of cGMP to provide support to Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance & Procurement.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel for reporting & scenario planning.
- Understanding of master scheduling & planning processes.
- Strong analytical skills in supply chain environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
