Our client is a well-established Australian business that continues to innovate and gain market recognition within their space. Due to their ongoing growth there is now a great opportunity for a Logistics (mainly export) and Customer Service professional to join the team.

**As the Logistics & Customer Service Officer your duties will include (but not limited to)**:

- Co-ordinate the despatch of large loads and containers for all customers
- Make bookings for large loads and containers to coincide with availability and customers needs
- Customer Service to all related parties
- Sales Order Processing and review with production on timing and making appropriate bookings
- Co-ordination and preparation of export documentation
- Checking suppliers invoices and approving them for payment
- Gaining a very good understanding of the manufacturing system and products.
- Warehousing / Stocktake - record physical / cycle stocktakes.

**To be considered for this role you will need**:

- Understanding of international freighting requirements
- Understanding of / experience in Syspro software package (preferred)
- Understanding of building customer relationships
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar customer service position with a background in logistics
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong customer service skills - quotations, handling queries and complaints
- Have a strong work ethic and team culture
