**About the opportunity**
A fantastic opportunity has come available for experienced Educator to join our **_C&K Birkdale South_** team. As the Assistant you will have the opportunity to learn and grow through C&K, to bring new skills and ideas to challenge your knowledge and deliver excellence in early education and care.
For the role we are looking for an Educator who is energetic, passionate and fun, who will pride themselves on their passion and dedication for early education and care within the learning environment and have exceptional skills to build relationships with families and children. This position is permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
C&K Birkdale South Childcare Centre caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, we operate Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:30pm.The service embraces C&K’s ‘Listening and Learning Together’ curriculum approach, which is a play based, emergent and co-constructed curriculum giving emphasis to encouraging children to express and transform their ideas and understandings in play and the many languages of children.
**Ideal applicants will have**:
- Certificate lll qualification in early childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA); or enrolled and actively working towards
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Hold or willing to obtain a paid Blue Card
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for creating and delivering a simulating learning environment
- An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Skilled with documenting observations of children's behaviour and development, in the form of learning stories
- An ability to implement a planned program, in collaboration with the Room Leader ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
