Job Description: Hey there, superheroes of support We're on the lookout for a positive and dynamic Disability Support Superstar to join our incredible team at S.N.A.P. (Supporting Needs And Planning). If you're a true all-rounder with skills in gardening, house cleaning, social participation, and community access, and you understand the rollercoaster ride of mental health, then keep reading We're open to hiring contractors or adding you to our awesome team, and guess what? We'll even cover the ferry costs

**Responsibilities**:

- Use your superpowers of compassion and support to help individuals with disabilities thrive, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Show off your green thumb skills by tackling gardening tasks like a pro From planting flowers to watering plants, you'll create an oasis of awesomeness.
- Embrace your inner cleaning guru and ensure living spaces are spick and span. Time to bring out your brooms, mops, and superhero cleaning gear
- Unleash your social butterfly side and organize activities that encourage social participation and community access. Let's make connections and have a blast
- Understand the highs and lows that individuals with mental health conditions can experience and provide the support they need during all the twists and turns.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in disability support work, with a focus on mental health. We need someone who knows the ropes
- Bring your understanding and empathy to the table and show those challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions that you've got their back.
- Whip that cape and show off your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Building connections and trust is your superpower
- Get ready for some physical action Gardening and cleaning tasks require a bit of muscle, so be prepared to flex those superhero muscles.
- Stay flexible, just like an acrobat Be ready to adapt to changing participant needs and schedules. We're all about making it work
- Reliability is key We need someone who can leap tall buildings in a single bound... well, maybe not that, but definitely someone dependable and responsible.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or your willingness to obtain them). Safety first, superheroes
- If you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, that would be super helpful in saving the day.
