GHD has rich expertise in delivering projects for clients through EPCM, EPC, Owner’s Engineer and other delivery models in Western Australia and elsewhere. This is complimented by our local team’s strong pedigree in the end-to-end power system design which includes generation, transmission, distribution, renewables, battery energy storage, and hydrogen technology.

Strong growth within our **Future Energy **business has created an opportunity for a Trainee Electrical Designer to join a dynamic and professional team. The focus of the role will be to undertake the engineering and design of transmission lines for key client s in WA.

**Working closely with key clients, broader Future Energy group and our multi-disciplinary team, you will **provide**:

- Design of electrical, communications and automation systems associated with major renewable energy, transmission and battery projects.
- Production of redline markups and QA of designs
- Drafting in AutoCAD and MicroStation drafting packages
- Tracing of designs for non-electrical disciplines

**What would you bring to the team?**
- Studying or completed Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical
- Sound understanding of electrical principles
- Familiar with autocad and microstation drafting packages
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in solving complex and novel technical problems
- An unwavering focus on delivering value to GHD’s clients
