**About the Role**

**The successful applicant will have**:
**_Essential_**
- Tertiary qualifications in data and/or computer science, statistics, with a strong analysis component, or similar relevant degree or significant demonstrated experience in data to practice activities within a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in extracting and analysing data, using contemporary statistical techniques and statistical analysis software,
- Experience in the interpretation, presentation, and communication of data to a range of audiences including use of visual forms (such as diagrams and infographics) to convey insights and ideas
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated innovative approach to problem solving
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a high performing team
- Strong ability ‘to get things done’ - effective time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to meet deadlines
- Working with Children Check

**_Desirable_**
- Experience working in the community services / not for profit sector
- Knowledge of program area content
- Experience or knowledge of the National and State minimum data sets
- Understanding of or experience working with TCM / PowerBI
